Base Salary
$167k - $283k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize software interfaces integrating edge AI, firmware, operating systems, hardware, and cloud services.
- Build real-time data pipelines and systems for sensor fusion, perception, robotic control, and low-latency embedded AI/ML inference.
- Develop maintainable, modular, well-tested software and evaluate frameworks and technology stacks for high-impact applications.
- Lead complex end-to-end embodied intelligence projects, make architectural trade-offs, and define the robotics platform roadmap.
- Integrate perception, planning, navigation, and multimodal machine-learning models onto edge platforms in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Iterate from early technical exploration to deep implementation while balancing feasibility, safety, performance, quality, schedule, and resources.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 6 years of embedded systems software development experience, including work in R&D and innovation environments, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and MATLAB, including real-time multithreaded application development.
- Experience with QNX, Yocto, inter-process communication, hardware interfaces, and CUDA programming.
- Experience with machine-learning models and frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Expertise developing embedded AI/ML solutions, including training and fine-tuning foundation models and applying hardware-acceleration techniques.
- Experience with robotics, motion control, perception, sensor fusion, path planning, and model optimization for resource-constrained platforms.
- Strong problem-solving, adaptability to new technologies, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced degrees are preferred.
