Senior Principal Architect – Data Domain

- Advise and lead architecture strategy across multiple products, applications, and technologies.
- Translate complex technical issues and approaches for leadership to guide target-state architecture decisions.
- Establish and lead an architecture governance body and define standards, metrics, and architectural guardrails.
- Create reusable software frameworks that improve delivery velocity and quality across teams.
- Drive reuse-first adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities with human validation and sensitive-data handling.
- Establish governance controls for AI-assisted and agentic workflows, including traceability, auditability, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Evaluate emerging capabilities and recommend enterprise adoption strategies.
- Partner across domains to reduce tooling duplication, clarify ownership, and maintain technology lifecycle governance.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of applied experience plus formal architecture training or certification.
- Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Expertise in one or more architecture disciplines and experience influencing teams across functions.
- Extensive practical cloud-native experience and understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud operating models.
- Deep data-management architecture expertise covering relational, NoSQL, and graph databases; ETL tools and data pipelines; data warehouses, data lakes, analytics, data mining, and data governance.
- Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies and recommend solutions for future-state architecture.
- Experience leading safe adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in architecture workflows, including validation and data-sensitivity practices.
- Preferred advanced certifications in cloud, enterprise architecture, ITSM, SRE, or security.
- Preferred experience with operational automation, event intelligence, self-healing workflows, ticketing and incident processes, CMDB and asset intelligence, and financial-services regulatory frameworks.
