Responsibilities
- Lead and evolve QA strategy, standards, and governance across the platform.
- Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks for cloud data platforms.
- Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
- Establish data quality validation and control frameworks.
- Define and oversee quality KPIs, reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Use AI and GenAI capabilities to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Provide leadership and direction across teams while influencing stakeholders and delivery outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience with test automation for cloud data platforms.
- Proficiency in Python-based testing with PyTest and unittest.
- Experience with data quality tools including Great Expectations and dbt tests.
- Experience with API testing using Postman or RestAssured.
- Experience with Databricks, ADF pipelines, and the Azure ecosystem.
- Experience with CI/CD and cloud-native testing practices.
- Preferred certifications include ISTQB Advanced, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, and Databricks Certified Data Engineer.
