Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for UI and API applications.
- Build scalable and maintainable automation frameworks using software engineering principles, design patterns, coding standards, and development best practices.
- Develop automated regression, integration, functional, and end-to-end test scenarios.
- Collaborate with QA Engineers, Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to define testing strategies.
- Analyze test results, identify defects and risks, and provide technical recommendations.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and improve test coverage, execution efficiency, frameworks, and reporting.
- Create test documentation and technical reports.
- Troubleshoot automation and application issues and participate in root-cause analysis.
- Support testing across enterprise applications, integrations, and business-critical processes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of QA and test automation experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with UI and API test automation.
- Strong programming and development knowledge, particularly in JavaScript/TypeScript or similar languages.
- Understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and automation framework design.
- Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical explanation skills.
- Fluency in written and verbal English and Spanish.
- Preferred experience with Playwright, Cucumber/BDD, Allure Reports, CI/CD servers and pipelines, Salesforce testing, MuleSoft, Oracle Fusion, e-commerce testing, complex enterprise integrations, distributed systems, and cloud-based test automation.
