Base Salary
$110k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ship major product features end to end across the JavaScript, TypeScript, and Clojure codebase.
- Address complex backend engineering issues as they arise.
- Make sound technical judgments and clearly articulate the reasoning behind them.
- Build user-focused data tools with strong product sensibilities.
Requirements
- Experience with Clojure or a strong desire to learn it.
- A track record of shipping products of significant complexity.
- A solid computer science background acquired through a CS program or production software development experience.
- Ability to make and clearly explain good technical judgments.
- Preferred: experience with JDBC and database integrations.
- Preferred: knowledge of the Java ecosystem and JVM tuning.
- Preferred: open source contributions.
- Preferred: experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
