Responsibilities
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments using industry-standard tools.
- Collaborate with IT, development, and business teams to validate findings.
- Monitor and report on the status of vulnerabilities and remediation progress.
- Assist in developing and maintaining vulnerability management policies.
- Support incident response activities with context and analysis.
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies.
- Contribute to security awareness initiatives for stakeholders.
- Ensure transparency of team effectiveness through metrics and reporting.
- Continuously learn about the security threat landscape.
- Support regulatory compliance initiatives by implementing controls.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in cybersecurity focused on vulnerability management.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools like Tenable or Qualys.
- Familiarity with threat frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
- Strong understanding of operating systems, networking, and cloud platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills for conveying technical findings.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, or GSEC are a plus.
