Base Salary

$171k - $260k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, ship, and operate production agents on NEO from prototype through production.
  • Build production-grade Graph RAG, vector retrieval, chunking, ranking, embeddings, and grounding strategies.
  • Design episodic and semantic agent memory with recall, summarization, and decay policies.
  • Manage entitlement-, lineage-, and tenant-aware organizational context.
  • Compose multi-agent workflows using A2A and integrate tools and data through MCP servers.
  • Develop agent evaluations, regression suites, LLM-as-judge systems, and quality and safety gates.
  • Deploy and operate solutions on AWS and/or Azure with security, resiliency, observability, and SDLC practices.
  • Partner with product, business, and engineering stakeholders across CIB and Payments.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 7 years of development experience, including at least 4 years working on AI/ML solutions.
  • Production experience building LLM-powered or agentic applications, including tracing, evaluations, and guardrails.
  • Strong Python programming and knowledge of data structures, algorithms, machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, and statistics.
  • Practical RAG experience with retrieval quality, embeddings, and vector stores; Graph RAG is strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in at least one of AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of data management and data model design, including real-time processing with SQL and NoSQL stores such as Postgres, OpenSearch, and Redis.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with senior technical and business stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience with agent frameworks or runtimes, A2A, MCP, agent memory, organizational context management, knowledge graphs, graph databases, LLM fine-tuning, small language model inference, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
  • Preferred experience developing agent UIs with Next.js, Svelte, AG-UI, or the NEO UI SDK; financial or payments domain experience; and Go or Rust.
