Responsibilities
- Build and improve premium Discord experiences such as Nitro, shop, boosting, and user identity.
- Own projects end to end by partnering with Product to refine requirements and create technical specs.
- Work with a team of full-stack engineers to ship new features across Web, Android, and iOS.
- Lead complex initiatives from conception to completion in ambiguous environments.
- Rapidly prototype new features and synthesize insights through experimentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of leading impactful projects.
- Full-stack proficiency, particularly in React/React Native and Python backend development.
- Strong product sense with empathy for users and a focus on feedback.
- Ownership mentality with the ability to thrive in autonomy and ambiguity.
- Pragmatic approach to solving complex problems and rapid prototyping.
