Base Salary
$58k - $105k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, code, document, test, and deliver new and existing software functionality in version-controlled repositories.
- Develop configurations and features for processing Safety of Navigation data through an OCR and machine learning application.
- Build APIs and integrate databases for interaction with React frameworks and visualization and data-filtering packages.
- Use Docker, AWS Cloud, GitLab, continuous integration tools, and DevOps practices to deliver software features.
- Participate in Agile standups, planning, increment planning, iteration, functionality testing, ticket assessment, and delivery against user story acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with team members and support custom application innovation and enhancement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 0+ years of relevant experience.
- Competence with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, including a modern JavaScript development framework.
- 0+ years of experience with unit testing, continuous integration tools, and GitLab version control.
- Experience with software development or software integration projects in a service-oriented, cloud, web-services, or virtualization environment.
- Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, collaboration, and written and verbal communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include OCR or computer vision experience with AWS Textract, Tesseract, or OpenCV; AWS CloudFormation or AWS CDK; 2D data technologies; AWS Solutions or DevOps certification; Jira and Confluence; and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
