Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded software for undersea payload units.
- Work through all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, integration, and testing.
- Conduct reviews of software products, designs, technical documents, and peer-review materials.
- Participate in cross-functional Scrum teams, design reviews, technical reviews, and end-to-end requirements activities.
- Prioritize assigned tasking and make recommendations to Technical Leads.
- Debug complex integrated applications or test setup issues and support hardware integration and testing.
Requirements
- Principal level requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent STEM discipline with 5+ years of embedded real-time software development experience, 3+ years with a master's degree, or 0 years with a PhD.
- Senior Principal level requires the same degree areas with 8+ years of embedded real-time software development experience, 6+ years with a master's degree, or 3+ years with a PhD.
- Experience developing in C++ and Python and developing embedded software.
- Experience developing in a Linux and/or Windows environment.
- Demonstrated experience as a technical lead and experience with microelectronics programming.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Preferred qualifications include Atlassian tool experience, embedded C++ optimization, JavaScript, Web GUI development, Qt, CUDA, ArrayFire, Docker, Kubernetes, hands-on hardware integration and testing, and an active TS/SCI clearance.
