Responsibilities
- Apply software engineering principles and creative problem-solving to technical challenges.
- Partner with engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements and turn ideas into working software.
- Design, write, review, test, and debug maintainable code.
- Learn and apply engineering technologies, methods, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate with teammates while owning deliverables and managing the internship project.
- Improve system availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, and security.
- Explore AI and automation approaches for designing, building, testing, and operating software.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field, with at least one semester or academic term remaining after the internship.
- Programming experience in at least one language such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or another object-oriented language.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Legal authorization to work in Romania through citizenship, a valid visa, or a work permit.
- Confident written and spoken English communication.
- Preferred: exposure to cloud computing, distributed systems, operating systems, networking, virtualization, storage, AI/ML, or AI-assisted software development.
- Preferred: experience building software projects through coursework, research, personal projects, hackathons, open source, or previous internships.
