Base Salary
$61k - $122k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define software development requirements with customers.
- Provide bug fixes, new features, code cleanup, and general development support.
- Maintain a PHP web server and implement minor features.
- Convert the current PHP web server solution to Python.
- Handle Tier 1–3 IT issues submitted by phone, functional mailbox, leadership, and in person.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware problems.
- Create SOPs, user guides, Navy IT process documentation, and documentation for completed software development.
Requirements
- A degree in a relevant software development field is required.
- Comfort developing in PHP and Python is required.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Secret or interim Secret clearance.
- Must have or be able to achieve CompTIA Security+ certification before the start date.
- Ability to balance multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Previous Navy environment experience, advanced PHP and Python development skills, and prior professional IT expertise are desired.
