Responsibilities
- Advise executive customer stakeholders and align technology strategy with business value and ROI.
- Design and guide scalable architectures across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and the Salesforce Platform.
- Define data models, sharing and security architectures, governance approaches, multi-org strategies, and solutions within governor limits.
- Identify risks, troubleshoot implementation issues, and resolve technical roadblocks through completion.
- Lead application and technical design documentation, including system diagrams, data flows, and technical artifacts.
- Provide guidance on integration development, enterprise architecture standards, environment management, and code reviews.
- Teach sophisticated technical concepts to developers and non-technical business leaders.
- Lead internal technical-practice initiatives and contribute to the technical knowledge base.
Requirements
- Hands-on technical consulting and solution implementation experience in a major software domain such as CRM, ERP, or HR, plus object-oriented coding experience.
- Experience defining technical system architectures, assessing current and desired states, and designing comprehensive solutions.
- Ability to document technical solutions and translate business processes into system diagrams, data flows, and technical artifacts.
- Knowledge of REST, SOAP, Bulk, and Platform Events API patterns and experience integrating Salesforce with business systems through ETL, middleware, or legacy CRM.
- Strong written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences.
- Ability to learn and apply new coding concepts, platform capabilities, and AI technologies.
- Availability for regional and occasional international travel based on customer needs.
- Preferred: 5+ years of direct experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, and the broader Lightning Platform.
- Preferred: Application Architect or System Architect credentials and Salesforce Core certifications; Agentforce Specialist and Data 360 certifications are a plus.
- Preferred: Experience with Agile frameworks such as SAFe and strategic delivery teams.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Experience Cloud, MuleSoft, Data 360, and platform-native automation and AI tooling.
