Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define and evangelize technical vision for assigned domains.
- Decompose complex problems into practical, operational solutions and evaluate architecture for scalability, consistency, performance, operability, and maintainability.
- Drive modernization of monolithic systems into microservice architectures and event-driven platforms.
- Define long-term platform strategy, API standards, coding standards, and design standards with engineering and architecture leaders.
- Lead cross-divisional projects and architectural reviews that advance technical best practices.
- Provide hands-on technical contribution while mentoring engineers and strengthening technical capabilities across engineering and product communities.
- Create technical communications, code samples, blog posts, and other knowledge-sharing materials.
- Balance multiple projects and serve as an authoritative expert and trusted advisor across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- At least 7 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, cloud computing, and data architecture.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Preferred: 10+ years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, web technologies, distributed HPC and ML systems, cloud computing, and data architecture.
- Preferred: 10+ years of professional coding experience with languages such as Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, and Scala.
- Preferred: 8+ years with databases and database management systems and 8+ years with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: 10+ years across the full system development lifecycle and networking protocols or third-party distributed-system integration.
- Preferred: 5+ years with message-oriented middleware and asynchronous, event-driven communication patterns.
- Preferred: 5+ years mentoring senior engineers and 2+ years leading cross-domain architectural reviews and establishing coding and design standards.
- Expertise in the strategic application of agentic AI coding tools to systemic development challenges.
