Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, enhance, and maintain cloud-native software applications and supporting cloud infrastructure.
- Design and optimize secure cloud architectures, application security controls, deployment solutions, and containerized environments.
- Build, maintain, and automate CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code solutions, software build environments, automated testing, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with software, systems, operations, cybersecurity, and infrastructure engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support software integration, testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and sustainment activities.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum planning, sprint execution, backlog refinement, and software release planning.
- Maintain technical documentation, project status, issue tracking, configuration management, change control, risk management, and secure development practices.
- Identify improvements to software quality, team processes, automation, and engineering efficiency, while providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 8 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience developing production-quality software throughout the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience with AWS EKS/Kubernetes, automated container deployments, Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code tools, and Vault/AWS Secrets Manager or alternatives.
- Proficiency with AWS cloud services and experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Experience developing scalable, maintainable, and well-tested software and using source control, issue tracking, and collaborative development tools.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments and strong communication, analytical, prioritization, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing skills.
- U.S. citizenship and an active/current Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one; a clearance active within the past 24 months is considered active.
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation, cloud networking, DevSecOps, secure software development, application security, vulnerability assessment, and secure coding practices is preferred.
- Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist certification, AWS Solutions Architect certification, Linux and Bash experience, and familiarity with Fortify or SonarQube are preferred.

- Base pay range of $123,000-$161,000 USD, with potential eligibility for company stock and an annual bonus.
