Responsibilities
- Build DevOps automation tools and scalable, repeatable processes for software and infrastructure deployments.
- Develop and maintain scripts, tools, systems, and configuration management processes supporting software releases.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines, software builds, testing, and deployments across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.
- Manage AWS resources and deploy releases using automation, including VPC, EC2, Route 53, IAM, and Lambda services.
- Participate in release planning, troubleshoot application and operational issues, and improve development and operational processes.
- Document system results and prepare status reports for division and corporate management.
- Maintain end-to-end security and implement secure development and deployment best practices.
- Collaborate with engineers and product teams in an Agile environment and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Minimum of five years of experience managing AWS resources and automating CI/CD pipelines.
- AWS Certified Developer Associate and/or AWS SysOps Administrator Associate certification.
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification.
- Experience with release engineering, source code management, and automated build, test, and deployment environments is preferred.
- Experience with Azure or Google Cloud, zero-downtime deployment strategies, microservices or event-driven architecture, and containerization technologies is preferred.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, Vagrant, VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM is preferred.
- Knowledge of secure SDLC practices, OWASP Top 10, CWE/SANS Top 25, CloudFormation, Terraform, DNS, NFS, TCP/IP, and QA and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency with Node.js or .NET Core with C#, and strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Exposure to Cassandra, MongoDB, DynamoDB, MySQL, SQL Server, or Aurora.
- Strong practical Windows and Linux system administration skills in cloud environments.
- Ability to build and administer CI/CD pipelines and sit for long periods performing sedentary activities.
