  • Build applications used by technicians, dispatchers, and operations teams to vet machines, schedule installations, track inventory, and maintain fleet health.
  • Build field services that deliver machine identity, credentials, calibrations, and configuration while tracking deployed software and hardware state.
  • Move large volumes of sensor data from remote job sites to support machine learning and operational improvement.
  • Work directly with technicians, operators, and multidisciplinary hardware, machine learning, and robotics teams to translate field workflows into durable software.
  • Design and safely evolve foundational APIs used by internal engineering teams and external partners.
  • Apply AI and agents to development workflows, fleet triage, and operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building and shipping production software and owning systems from design through operation.
  • Strong backend engineering and data-modeling skills, including designing schemas and services used by other systems.
  • Ability to build full-stack applications with effective user interfaces.
  • Strong product sense and ability to prioritize useful solutions for user problems.
  • Ability to define and deliver ambiguous, cross-functional problems.
  • Clear communication with non-engineering teams, including field operators, hardware repair staff, and customers.
  • Preferred experience managing fleets of physical assets, IoT devices, or robots.
  • Preferred experience with edge systems, intermittent connectivity, device provisioning, and large data transfers.
  • Preferred experience in manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, field service, or construction.
  • Preferred experience running high-uptime services on AWS with strong observability.
