Responsibilities
- Own and ship product features end to end, incorporating feedback from developers who use them.
- Build fast, polished, and high-quality experiences across IDE, web, and CLI products.
- Define interaction patterns and user experiences for developers working with AI agents.
- Build Devin’s agent loop, tool-use capabilities, and reliable agent harness infrastructure.
- Solve difficult technical problems directly while maintaining quality across multiple product surfaces.
- Make independent product decisions and move quickly without extensive process or sign-off.
Requirements
- Demonstrated full-stack engineering depth and strong instincts for product quality.
- Genuine understanding of developer workflows and developer-tool user experience.
- Production-grade proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and React.
- Ability to make sound independent product decisions.
- Strong attention to UX details including micro-interactions, transitions, response times, and empty states.
- Experience building developer tools, IDEs, or technical products is a strong plus.
- Prior experience at a frontier AI lab, applied AI company, or developer tools company is a plus.
- BS, MS, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline from a highly selective program.
