Base Salary
$180k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, manage, and deploy distributed services in production.
- Solve race conditions involving large numbers of agents writing to a data model simultaneously.
- Enable real-time transmission of agent outputs across services to the client.
- Optimize write throughput and in-memory footprint for each agent.
- Contribute as an individual and primary contributor to medium- and large-scale software projects.
- Help peers debug issues and answer technical questions.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience as a software engineer.
- A consistent record of contributing as an individual contributor to several medium- to large-scale projects.
- A consistent record as the primary individual contributor on at least one medium-scale project.
- Experience managing, designing, and deploying distributed services in a production environment.
- Recognition by peers as a resource who can help debug and answer questions.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, facilitate difficult conversations, and align stakeholders.
- Prior experience with Go, Redis, PubSub, RPC, Postgres, S3, or Temporal is a differentiator.
