Responsibilities

  • Support integration of large, complex smart ticketing systems and operational services.
  • Coordinate systems engineering activities and integration strategies with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze and develop requirements, manage interfaces, and support system design across the project lifecycle.
  • Perform verification and validation of functional and non-functional requirements and develop compliance evidence.
  • Define integration test strategies, test cases, and test procedures for projects involving multiple third-party deliverables.
  • Produce system development and project lifecycle documentation.
  • Participate in customer meetings, workshops, project planning meetings, and on-site or off-site calls.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams, partners, and suppliers to deliver work packages to cost, schedule, and quality expectations.

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience delivering complex AFC or ticketing systems.
  • Sound knowledge of software/system development lifecycles, requirements writing, interface management, verification and validation, test cases, and test procedures.
  • Knowledge of system integration test strategies and plans for complex projects involving multiple third-party deliverables.
  • Sound knowledge of project management and automated fare collection environments.
  • Knowledge of Computer Science environments and at least three years of engineering or software design expertise.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills for coordinating diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Confident communication across all levels of the business and English proficiency.
  • Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or an Engineering subject.
  • Knowledge of transportation and software architectures is desirable.
  • A third language in addition to English and Spanish, such as French, German, or Japanese, is desirable.
