Responsibilities
- Support integration of large, complex smart ticketing systems and operational services.
- Coordinate systems engineering activities and integration strategies with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze and develop requirements, manage interfaces, and support system design across the project lifecycle.
- Perform verification and validation of functional and non-functional requirements and develop compliance evidence.
- Define integration test strategies, test cases, and test procedures for projects involving multiple third-party deliverables.
- Produce system development and project lifecycle documentation.
- Participate in customer meetings, workshops, project planning meetings, and on-site or off-site calls.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, partners, and suppliers to deliver work packages to cost, schedule, and quality expectations.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience delivering complex AFC or ticketing systems.
- Sound knowledge of software/system development lifecycles, requirements writing, interface management, verification and validation, test cases, and test procedures.
- Knowledge of system integration test strategies and plans for complex projects involving multiple third-party deliverables.
- Sound knowledge of project management and automated fare collection environments.
- Knowledge of Computer Science environments and at least three years of engineering or software design expertise.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills for coordinating diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Confident communication across all levels of the business and English proficiency.
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or an Engineering subject.
- Knowledge of transportation and software architectures is desirable.
- A third language in addition to English and Spanish, such as French, German, or Japanese, is desirable.
