Responsibilities
- Solve complex engineering problems and contribute to architecture, design reviews, development, security, compliance, and observability for Java/Spring Boot microservices.
- Develop and enhance scalable, resilient platform and infrastructure components, including inter-component communication.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and engineering teams to support successful end-to-end product delivery.
- Research and apply AI/ML concepts to Managed File Transfer and Workload Automation capabilities, including intelligent routing, predictive maintenance, and enhanced security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–8 years of professional software engineering experience focused on high-scale products and platforms.
- Strong Java, Spring Boot, REST API, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and architecture skills.
- Experience building distributed SaaS systems, microservices, APIs, Kubernetes-based solutions, and cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform, and automated platform management.
- Strong working knowledge of EKS and Kubernetes, including inter-component communication and basic cluster operations.
- In-depth understanding of enterprise file transfer and secure communication protocols, including SFTP, FTPS, and AS2.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their practical application to engineering problems.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise application integration, preferably with SAP.
- Ability to contribute to technical initiatives and collaborate effectively with engineering peers.
- Knowledge of Scrum and Kanban development methodologies, along with strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
