Responsibilities
- Develop solution architectures, architectural road maps, logical models, reusable assets, and related deliverables for Adobe platform projects.
- Lead architecture planning and balance business, cost, risk, quality, and technology priorities.
- Oversee architecture governance, methodologies, compliance activities, standards, and exceptions.
- Translate complex business requirements into actionable target architectures and validate engineering designs.
- Direct and mentor virtual architecture teams and guide Enterprise Architecture alignment.
- Collaborate with business sponsors, engineering, project management, business analysis, testing, information security, operations, vendors, and global stakeholders.
- Design solutions using data, analytics, personalization, orchestration, customer profiles, and AI-driven capabilities with appropriate governance and scalability.
- Communicate the value of Solution Architecture and Enterprise Architecture services and educate stakeholders on their benefits.
- Develop recommendations for architecture tools, strategies, frameworks, and continuous improvement.
- Provide thought leadership for the evolution of the Solution Architecture function and global technology standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with the Adobe product family as a Solution Architect.
- Enterprise-scale Adobe implementation experience and deep Adobe CX Stack expertise.
- Strong understanding of digital experience platforms and current digital marketing practices, including personalization, cross-channel marketing, mobile, and data-driven experience optimization.
- Experience in a related technical field such as application development, deployment or implementation, and infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise and Solution Architecture frameworks and governance.
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, conflict-resolution, leadership, organizational, and business-acumen skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements and estimate the financial and architectural impact of alternatives.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change across global teams.
- Experience with significant IT infrastructure and security projects.
- Professional services or global-team experience is preferred.
- Adobe certifications are desired.
- Familiarity with ITIL and IIBA BABOK Practice Standards is preferred.
- Enterprise Search Implementation experience is desired.
- Ability to work outside typical hours when required and travel on a very limited basis.
