Responsibilities
- Debug C# and APL code and implement fixes for crashes, erroneous code, and existing functionality.
- Investigate client-reported performance issues in C# and APL modules and resolve them to prevent system failures.
- Reproduce and analyze client issues in internal installations.
- Work with business consultants and developers to evaluate and solve customer issues.
- Help business consultants answer technical questions by understanding complex existing code.
- Collaborate directly with product support teams, clients, and the central product department.
- Analyze complex front-end and back-end architecture and coordinate multiple priorities in time-sensitive situations.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience with C# and .NET, including WinForms.
- Experience supporting desktop applications.
- Knowledge of the .NET framework, object-oriented programming principles, tracing, debugging, and common debugging tools.
- Ability to read, understand, and analyze complex code and solve problems independently and collaboratively.
- Interest or experience with functional programming languages such as APL, F#, or Haskell is beneficial.
- Knowledge or strong interest in financial issues and investment management is beneficial.
- Ability to work with complex front-end and back-end architecture and coordinate multiple interests.
