Responsibilities

  • Debug C# and APL code and implement fixes for crashes, erroneous code, and existing functionality.
  • Investigate and resolve performance issues in C# and APL modules to prevent system failures.
  • Work with business consultants and developers to evaluate and solve customer issues.
  • Analyze existing complex code and assist business consultants in answering technical questions.
  • Replicate client-reported issues in internal installations for debugging and analysis.
  • Provide direct technical support to product support teams and clients onsite, by phone, and through remote connections.
  • Act as an interface between support teams and the Central Product Department.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience with C# and .NET, including WinForms.
  • Experience supporting desktop applications.
  • Knowledge of the .NET framework, object-oriented programming principles, tracing, debugging, and common debugging tools.
  • Ability to read, understand, and analyze complex code and work with complex front-end and back-end architecture.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, organization, and time-sensitive coordination skills.
  • Familiarity with a functional programming language such as APL, F#, or Haskell is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of or strong interest in financial issues is beneficial.
  • Curiosity and willingness to develop broad knowledge across different areas.
