Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and technical direction for SAP Business Technology Platform using scalable, secure, reusable patterns.
- Architect and govern SAP Build Work Zone experiences across SAP and enterprise applications.
- Design automation, workflow, visualization, user experience, and AI solutions for business processes.
- Architect side-by-side extensions and integration patterns across S/4HANA, BTP, BW/4HANA, Datasphere, Azure, APIs, and other platforms.
- Establish standards and governance for security, identity, connectivity, development, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Create reference architectures, frameworks, roadmaps, solution designs, and technical recommendations.
- Partner with engineering, security, infrastructure, data and analytics, integration, SAP, and business teams.
- Evaluate emerging SAP BTP capabilities, guide proof-of-concepts, and recommend solutions.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of SAP architecture, application development, integration, automation, or related technology experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP BTP or predecessor platforms.
- Demonstrated experience architecting and delivering SAP BTP solutions involving SAP Build Work Zone, application development, integration, automation, workflows, or AI services.
- Experience with Datasphere modeling, analytical consumption in SAP Build Work Zone, data integration patterns, ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, or enterprise application integrations.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure for SAP workloads, preferably Azure.
- Experience creating architecture documentation, solution designs, standards, and technical recommendations.
- Experience working with cross-functional technical and business stakeholders in enterprise or regulated environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with SAP Cloud Integration, SAP Analytics Cloud, Azure services for SAP, data governance, metadata management, lineage, access controls, compliance-driven architecture, Zero Trust, secure-by-design architecture, and enterprise security standards.
- Experience mentoring architects, engineers, or delivery teams through design reviews and architecture governance.
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
