Base Salary

$100k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain integrations between BizFlow workflow applications and customer enterprise systems.
  • Develop and consume REST and SOAP web services with JSON and XML payloads, authentication, error handling, and retry logic.
  • Build reliable and diagnosable backend services and implement data mappings, transformations, validation, migration, and synchronization.
  • Write and tune complex SQL, optimize queries and stored procedures, and protect data integrity across relational systems.
  • Mentor developers through code review, pairing, coaching, and technical direction on a workstream.
  • Set backend and integration standards, lead design and code reviews, and document designs, configurations, and runbooks.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, business analysts, project leadership, project managers, and customer technical staff.
  • Write unit and integration tests, support QA and User Acceptance Testing, and resolve defects.
  • Support builds, environment configuration, deployments, and troubleshooting across development, test, and production environments.
  • Diagnose production issues across application, integration, database, and server layers and drive issues to root cause.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of professional backend development experience with strong hands-on Java.
  • Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, relational schemas, query tuning, and stored procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience building production integrations between enterprise systems using REST and SOAP web services and APIs.
  • Experience mentoring or leading developers through code review and technical direction.
  • Experience with data integration, including mapping, transformation, validation, and migration.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across application, integration, database, and server layers.
  • Ability to learn the BizFlow platform quickly and deeply.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Preferred experience with workflow, BPM, or low-code platforms such as BizFlow, Appian, Pega, Mendix, or ServiceNow.
  • Preferred familiarity with BPMN 2.0, workflow engines, business process modeling, Salesforce, Microsoft Power Platform, HR and ERP systems, message queues, batch processing, event-driven integration, CI/CD tooling, automated deployment pipelines, containerization, regulated environments, Section 508, and relevant industry domains.
