Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software for real-time control of advanced tactical radio equipment.
- Support requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop software test procedures, software programs, and related documentation.
- Evaluate hardware-software interfaces, operational performance requirements, and overall system design.
- Use modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
- Participate in peer reviews and identify, track, and repair defects.
Requirements
- Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, wireless engineering, information security, mathematics, digital arts and sciences, or a related field.
- Applicants may instead have completed a bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months.
- Preferred experience or skills include one or more listed programming languages, platforms, operating systems, embedded systems, real-time controls, wireless technologies, robotics, software security, and related engineering tools or concepts.
