Base Salary
$120k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build agent patterns, retrieval systems, and guardrails for production agentic assistants.
- Develop an MCP server and skills registry for AI coding agents in the IDE.
- Create reusable LangGraph patterns for multi-agent orchestration, memory, tool-use safety, and guardrails.
- Build an agent evaluation platform using DeepEval and Ragas with CI/CD quality gates.
- Develop document-ingestion and retrieval pipelines involving chunking, embeddings, vector search, reranking, and citations.
- Automate AI-agent deployment on AWS using ECS, Fargate, and Agent Core.
- Create AI-enabled devcontainers with integrated tooling, validation, and testing.
- Instrument production workloads with OpenTelemetry and build dashboards for LLM cost and token tracking.
- Turn governance controls into automated pipeline checks and collect supporting evidence.
- Implement semantic caching, rate limiting, and graceful degradation for agent workloads.
- Develop reference implementations, SDK and CLI tooling, documentation, and reusable developer experiences.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python 3.10 or later.
- Working knowledge of AWS core services, including IAM, ECS/Fargate, and networking.
- Experience with software engineering practices including Git/GitHub, code review, testing, documentation, and clean code.
- Security awareness involving secrets, permissions, sensitive data, and data protection.
- Expertise in at least one of agent development, data and retrieval engineering, quality and evaluation, platform and infrastructure, observability and operations, or developer experience.
