Responsibilities
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools.
- Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to verify system requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and test architectures for application products.
- Write, implement, analyze, and report on system test cases and testing progress.
- Provide testing subject matter expertise for complex software and hardware applications.
- Participate in risk management assessments and software/hardware development, with emphasis on user requirements, test design, and test tool selection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Two years of directly related experience demonstrating the knowledge and skills required for the role.
- Experience designing, developing, and executing software testing.
- Programming experience with Python.
- Active DOE Q clearance at start or DOD Top Secret clearance with reciprocity, plus the ability to obtain an SCI clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash and UNIX command languages is desired.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization is desired, with Docker preferred.
- Experience with large-scale systems, established codebases, and Agile software development practices is desired.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
