Responsibilities

Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools.
Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to verify system requirements.
Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and test architectures for application products.
Write, implement, analyze, and report on system test cases and testing progress.
Provide testing subject matter expertise for complex software and hardware applications.
Participate in risk management assessments and software/hardware development, with emphasis on user requirements, test design, and test tool selection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Two years of directly related experience demonstrating the knowledge and skills required for the role.
Experience designing, developing, and executing software testing.
Programming experience with Python.
Active DOE Q clearance at start or DOD Top Secret clearance with reciprocity, plus the ability to obtain an SCI clearance.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash and UNIX command languages is desired.
Knowledge of cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization is desired, with Docker preferred.
Experience with large-scale systems, established codebases, and Agile software development practices is desired.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Full-time, on-site position.
Requires an active DOE Q or DOD Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain an SCI clearance.
