Base Salary

$111k - $145k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT frameworks.
  • Architect modern data platforms, data lakes, and cloud-based data warehouses.
  • Build batch and real-time data processing solutions and define data modeling standards.
  • Lead data engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, mentoring, and architecture reviews.
  • Implement data quality checks, validation, monitoring, metadata management, lineage, cataloging, and governance solutions.
  • Design and manage cloud-native data solutions using Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Optimize data platform performance and cost efficiency, automate deployments, and improve reliability.
  • Partner with architects, business leaders, analytics teams, product owners, data scientists, analysts, and governance teams on data initiatives.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to design scalable data pipelines, data platforms, data lakes, and cloud data warehouses.
  • Experience with batch and real-time data processing, dimensional and semantic modeling, data quality, governance, metadata, lineage, and cataloging.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, standards, and architecture discussions.
  • Experience designing and managing cloud-native data solutions using Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Ability to monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance and costs, and improve platform reliability.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into maintainable technical solutions and communicate recommendations to senior leadership.
