Responsibilities
- Enhance the querying experience by improving query transformation, routing, and delivery at scale.
- Influence the design of the microservice architecture.
- Support the reliability, scalability, and operations of data sources in Grafana Cloud.
- Engineer new connection types to remote data sources.
- Collaborate with engineers and teams across the Grafana division.
- Take an active role in influencing the roadmap and personal career objectives.
Requirements
- Professional experience as a backend engineer with expertise in cloud microservice architecture.
- Strong skills in Go, with familiarity in other backend languages.
- Experience with configuration technologies like Jsonnet and Terraform.
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid experience with distributed systems and operational/SRE tasks.
- Experience working with AI/LLM-powered systems.
