Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quality engineering strategies across mobile, web, and gaming platforms.
- Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests for functionality, performance, and security.
- Review and improve testing frameworks, automation coverage, QE workflows, and quality processes.
- Estimate testing efforts, plan scalable QE processes, and support release planning.
- Troubleshoot complex quality issues, identify process gaps, and implement improvements.
- Lead cross-functional quality initiatives and collaborate with engineering leadership on process alignment.
- Monitor quality metrics, advocate for quality standards, and ensure quality practices are embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
- Research industry trends, tools, and technologies to keep QE processes current.
- Guide and mentor team members in quality practices and test strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in quality engineering, software testing, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products.
- Deep expertise in quality engineering methodologies and hands-on experience with test automation frameworks across front-end, back-end, and service layers.
- Proficiency in developing scalable, production-ready, maintainable, readable automation suites that cover edge cases.
- Strong leadership skills and experience developing and guiding others.
- Ability to make independent decisions, solve complex problems, manage processes, and coordinate projects.
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
