Responsibilities
- Design and build core features and developer tooling for GetYourGuide’s internal Agent Platform, Midnight Clue.
- Own tracing, quality metrics, offline and online evaluations, observability, and production feedback loops for agents.
- Shape the end-to-end experience for defining context, testing, monitoring, and optimizing agentic workflows with default guardrails.
- Drive platform architecture, write RFCs, and partner with infrastructure and application teams.
- Raise engineering standards through code review, mentoring, pairing, and technical leadership across the organization.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience building and operating platform-level or developer-facing systems used by other engineers.
- Strong hands-on skills in TypeScript and Go, with foundations in distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native deployment such as Kubernetes.
- Production experience with LLMs, including prompt and tool orchestration, retrieval, agent loops, and cost, latency, and reliability trade-offs.
- Experience building or operating evaluation pipelines, tracing, or monitoring systems and measuring quality with data.
- Ability to lead technically without a formal title, communicate clearly, influence cross-team decisions, and mentor others.
