Responsibilities
- Design and build automated detectors for common accessibility issues across Meta mobile applications.
- Develop and maintain testing frameworks for mobile codebases and scalable accessibility validation.
- Create developer tools and workflows that integrate accessibility testing into the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product teams to translate accessibility requirements into automated solutions.
- Analyze accessibility patterns and optimize detection algorithms for accuracy and performance.
- Drive initiatives to reduce manual accessibility testing through automation and tooling improvements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers on accessibility engineering practices.
- Own accessibility testing infrastructure with an end-to-end understanding of the systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience building testing frameworks or automation tools for mobile codebases.
- Programming experience in Java, Swift, Kotlin, or similar languages.
- Experience driving technical projects and implementing solutions across teams.
- Preferred experience with accessibility standards, guidelines, or accessibility testing tools.
- Preferred experience with iOS, Android, large-scale testing infrastructure, or developer tools.
- Preferred experience integrating AI tools, prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration, and responsible AI practices.
