Base Salary

$80k - $110k/yr

Responsibilities

Design and implement an Unreal Engine-based dynamic virtual environment using static architectural CAD data and real-time sensor data.
Develop well-crafted, thoroughly tested software and expand the use of automated tests.
Collaborate with Systems Engineering on solution design and technology selection.
Mentor team members in technical and non-technical areas while helping lead a growing team.
Deliver large, complex projects, coordinate multiple high-priority tasks, and improve software quality and efficiency.
Use contemporary software development methods and tools and support continuous learning and improvement.
Travel to client locations when necessary.

0–5+ years of technical or engineering experience in a software development organization.
0–5+ years of C/C++ experience is strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of 3D mathematics and trigonometry.
0–5+ years of experience with Unreal Engine, including Unreal source code, Blueprint, UAT, and Visual Studio debugging.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science.
Prior experience in a new product development environment is strongly preferred.
Virtual reality or augmented reality experience is desirable.
WxWidgets and JavaFX experience is desirable.
Demonstrated ability to fail fast, learn, and rapidly iterate toward a solution.
Strong listening, verbal, presentation, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and mentor others.

Salary range of $80K–$110K based on experience.
Collaborative, entrepreneurial work environment.
Work may occur in an office, laboratory, or production environment.
Occasional travel to customer sites and walking between OPEX facilities may be required.
Employee may occasionally lift up to 50 pounds when working directly with robotic equipment.
