Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead platform engineering, DevSecOps, SRE, infrastructure provisioning, and platform operations activities.
- Oversee secure, scalable, resilient cloud environments and implement approved architecture, security, compliance, and operational standards.
- Direct CI/CD pipeline design, infrastructure-as-code, automated deployment, configuration management, and environment provisioning.
- Lead monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, problem management, service improvement, and operational readiness activities.
- Coordinate engineering, operations, security, architecture, delivery, QA, and government stakeholders through releases and deployment governance.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, status reporting, operational metrics, and client briefings.
- Support cloud-native platforms, OpenShift environments, containerized applications, Databricks, and other modernization technologies.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship, U.S. residency, U.S. work authorization, and three full years lived in the U.S. during the last five years are required.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, or a high school diploma with four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree; a master's degree may substitute for two years of relevant experience.
- At least eight years of experience in cloud platform operations, DevSecOps, platform engineering, SRE, or related technical disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience leading DevSecOps, platform engineering, cloud operations, or infrastructure engineering teams supporting enterprise-scale cloud platforms.
- Deep Terraform infrastructure-as-code experience, including reusable modules, policy enforcement, provisioning, and automated deployment patterns.
- Experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Git, Azure Government, Azure Commercial, AWS GovCloud, and hybrid-cloud architectures.
- Experience with SRE practices, observability, monitoring, incident response, SLOs, SLIs, release governance, rollback readiness, and regulated production environments.
- Experience implementing platform security controls, secrets and certificate management, vulnerability management, policy-as-code, identity and access management, and automated compliance validation.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture, RMF, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, FIPS, and federal cybersecurity governance.
- Experience with data, analytics, AI/ML, and cloud modernization initiatives, including Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Machine Learning, and Power BI.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, service principals, managed identities, federation, and privileged access controls.
- Experience leading operational processes such as change control, incident and problem management, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and service continuity.
- Experience supporting federal government, healthcare, or other highly regulated environments and working within Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or enterprise-scale delivery organizations.
