Responsibilities
- Align engineering initiatives and best practices across multiple teams within a product area.
- Contribute to and govern architecture design and refactoring according to enterprise guidelines.
- Support technical decision-making, design patterns, and platform usage.
- Drive technical improvements to increase reliability, performance, and efficiency.
- Mentor and lead engineers while driving technical and architectural priorities across teams.
- Define and execute technical vision, goals, and roadmaps for an assigned area.
- Promote software engineering and security best practices.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with modern software engineering principles and practices.
- Strong knowledge of architecture concepts and frameworks such as TOGAF or similar.
- Experience governing digital product architecture across teams or product areas.
- Experience mentoring and leading engineers in complex technical environments.
- Ability to navigate complex business and technology landscapes.
- Experience driving technical and architectural priorities and implementations across teams.
- Ability to take ownership of a defined technical or product area and drive its evolution and outcomes.
- Ability to independently identify opportunities, challenges, and improvements.
- Experience defining and driving technical vision, goals, and roadmaps.
- Experience working in large, distributed product organizations is preferred.
