Responsibilities
- Manage Actimize related operations end to end on all client environments.
- Develop, configure, and manage software features according to design documents.
- Collaborate with architects and business analysts for project delivery.
- Support customers by resolving functionality problems.
- Enhance existing solutions by configuring and customizing software using Actimize technologies.
- Interface with R&D and customer support teams.
- Design full stack automation for troubleshooting and daily batch processes.
- Identify and resolve operational issues such as batch failures and database issues.
- Automate daily tasks for generating various reports.
- Proactively improve system resiliency and performance.
- Monitor server performance and maintain operational documentation.
- Support client testing and tuning activities in non-production environments.
- Coordinate between client and Actimize customer support teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system stability.
- Provide regular operational status updates to stakeholders.
- Communicate risks, issues, and mitigation plans proactively.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software development and/or production support engineering.
- Experience in web application development using JavaScript and related technologies.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
- Experience with enterprise web application frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools like Jenkins and Docker.
- Strong experience in Unix/Linux environments, including shell scripting.
- Good knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and MS SQL Server; knowledge of PostgreSQL is a plus.
- Understanding of design principles for building scalable applications.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git is an advantage.
