Base Salary
$100k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Verify, validate, and regression test software features involving Linux networking, wireless telecommunications, data protocols, mobile communications, and device graphical user interfaces.
- Create test plans, test scripts, and test cases for product validation and bug fixes based on system requirements.
- Review, update, and execute automated regression tests and analyze their results.
- Automate regression tests using the Gogo GATE framework.
- Troubleshoot software and network problems and implement appropriate corrections.
- Collaborate with test, development, and cross-functional teams on Gogo airborne products and next-generation 5G and satellite communication solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4–7 years of software, firmware, and/or system testing experience, including test planning, integration testing, and system-level testing.
- Strong QA experience, particularly in automation scripting, and fluency in Python 3.
- Experience with Linux development environments and testing and troubleshooting Linux routing and networking protocols, including TCP/IP and UDP.
- Preferred experience with Jenkins, Git, Linux server administration, web GUI test automation, Docker, avionics and ARINC protocols, DO-178C, satellite communications, and cellular networks.
