Base Salary
$100k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Verify, validate, and regression-test software features for Linux networking, wireless telecommunications, data protocols, mobile communications, and device graphical interfaces.
- Create test plans, test scripts, and test cases for product validation and bug fixes based on system requirements.
- Review, update, and execute automated regression tests and analyze test results.
- Automate regression testing through the Gogo GATE framework.
- Troubleshoot software and network problems and implement appropriate corrections.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4–7 years of software, firmware, and/or system testing experience, including test planning, integration testing, and system-level testing.
- Strong QA experience, particularly in automation scripting.
- Fluency in Python 3 and experience developing in Linux operating system environments.
- Experience testing and troubleshooting Linux routing and networking protocols, including TCP/IP and UDP, with performance and throughput testing.
- Preferred qualifications include Jenkins, Git, Linux server administration, Docker, web GUI test automation, avionics and ARINC protocols, DO-178C, satellite communications, and cellular network experience.
