Base Salary
$186k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated regression test suites for native iOS and Android builds.
- Set project-level quality standards through code reviews, test standards, and technical trade-off analysis.
- Build test infrastructure that integrates automated test and performance verification into the AI code generation cycle at commit time.
- Partner with mobile engineers to improve coverage, eliminate flaky tests, and streamline debugging workflows.
- Architect QA strategy for the greenfield native mobile rollout and support urgent product changes.
- Establish quality dashboards and SLOs for app stability, dropped frames, stall counts, and cold start times.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on mobile test automation.
- Hands-on experience with XCTest, Espresso, or equivalent native iOS and Android testing frameworks.
- Experience building automated regression infrastructure integrated with CI pipelines such as Buildkite or CircleCI.
- Proficiency in Swift and Kotlin sufficient to read, debug, and write test code for native mobile codebases.
- Ability to architect robust technical solutions using trade-off analysis.
- Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight and measurable workflow, cost, and quality improvements.
