Base Salary
$144k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build systems that model scientific intent and manage complex lab workflows.
- Design and implement high-quality user interfaces and APIs.
- Develop front-end and backend services focusing on performance and reliability.
- Create domain models, schemas, and data contracts across various database systems.
- Diagnose system bottlenecks and improve performance and reliability.
- Utilize AWS services and modern DevOps practices for system deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address scientific and operational needs.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4-6+ years of engineering experience in building large-scale systems.
- Strong expertise in front-end or backend engineering, or data modeling.
- Experience with TypeScript, React, and Python.
- Proficient in designing and maintaining APIs and application components.
- Familiarity with SQL and at least one NoSQL or data lakehouse architecture.
- Experience operating production software and improving reliability.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering maintainable solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants is a plus.
