Base Salary
$175k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale software systems across backend and frontend components.
- Own large systems and projects end to end and drive long-term technical direction.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Client Solutions teams to deliver impactful user-facing projects.
- Use AI and LLMs to accelerate development and power product features.
- Improve internal engineering systems and processes, including testing, deployment, observability, and agentic coding.
- Participate in on-call rotations supporting production systems.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of curiosity, growth, and engineering excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a relevant field, or equivalent industry experience.
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Expertise in at least one modern programming language, such as TypeScript, Python, or Go.
- Experience with relational databases, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.
- Ability to balance technical quality, development velocity, and user value.
- Bonus: experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React, GraphQL, AWS, PostgreSQL, Terraform, healthcare software, early-stage companies, or production LLM-powered products.
