Responsibilities
- Support and maintain business-critical applications across production, UAT, and pre-production environments.
- Monitor platform health, data pipelines, applications, and reporting services; resolve incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Support enterprise data warehouse and reporting platforms, including SQL optimization, data reconciliation, and reporting issue investigation.
- Contribute to scalable ETL/ELT solutions, data governance, observability, lineage, dashboards, and operational reporting.
- Design and implement enhancements, defect fixes, process automation, performance improvements, and cloud modernization initiatives.
- Improve monitoring, alerting, deployment, release, incident, problem, and change-management practices.
- Collaborate with business, product, software development, data, infrastructure, and global teams.
Requirements
- Strong SQL development, data analysis, data warehouse, data modeling, data integration, query tuning, and performance optimization skills.
- Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, dbt, Apache Airflow or Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow, and data transformation or orchestration frameworks.
- Programming and automation experience with Python, Unix/Linux shell scripting, and PowerShell.
- Experience with one or more cloud platforms, including AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, and VPC, or Microsoft Azure equivalents.
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, observability, performance analysis, Datadog, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and release automation.
- Experience developing interactive dashboards and data visualizations with Power BI and translating complex operational data into meaningful insights.
- Preferred experience includes regulatory reporting, financial markets or clearing services, SAP Business Objects, Control-M, SnowPro or AWS/Azure certifications, ITIL Foundation, data governance, metadata management, or AI solutions for engineering workflows.
