Base Salary
$140k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Propose and implement mitigations and defense-in-depth strategies for the virtualization stack.
- Provide technical expertise in systems architecture and kernel security features.
- Identify trade-offs of different solutions and recommend efficient designs.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement security remediations.
- Mentor software engineering teams in security best practices.
- Oversee the vulnerability management program.
Requirements
- Deep familiarity with at least one kernel security feature.
- Experience assessing performance implications of code changes in virtualization stacks.
- Proven ability to partner with engineering teams to solve security problems.
- Strong communication skills for discussing security topics and vulnerabilities.
- Working knowledge of modern development concepts like containerization and CI/CD.
