Base Salary
$121k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement ArcGIS platform-based strategies and solutions for complex Professional Services customer requirements.
- Define business continuity, security, governance, publication, and custom application architecture strategies for on-premise and cloud deployments.
- Establish ArcGIS deployment best practices and integrations with non-Esri platforms.
- Translate customer system requirements into software architecture and design specifications.
- Advise customers on effective solutions using Esri technology and content.
- Develop implementation and migration strategies for Esri software.
- Identify, design, and certify GIS workflows across ArcGIS Enterprise and non-Esri platforms.
- Develop multi-year IT/GIS strategies to support technology change and budget planning.
- Mentor less-experienced colleagues and technical staff.
- Lead implementation stages through coaching, reviews, budget and portfolio alignment, risk management, and personnel management.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional experience in GIS platform architecture and solution design.
- Experience designing and integrating high-performance computing, cloud, and edge-native architectures.
- Knowledge of zero trust, cross-domain services, and securing classified networks.
- Experience architecting, implementing, and administering enterprise IT-GIS systems using ArcGIS Enterprise, including desktop, server, and online components.
- Experience with platform architecture, solution design, project envisioning, planning, development, and deployment.
- Experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL, and/or other relational database management systems, plus Windows, Linux, and/or other server environments.
- Programming and scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, and/or HTML5 with modern web frameworks.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems such as ERP, EAM, CRM, and SCM platforms.
- Experience with service-oriented architectures and hybrid cloud configurations.
- Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly to customers, executives, technical staff, and non-technical staff.
- U.S. citizenship and an active or current within two years Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
- Recommended qualifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect or MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure certification or equivalent, CompTIA Security+ certification, and a master's degree in a relevant field.
