Software Engineer-Android Framework

- Analyze requirements and realize functionality in the Android Automotive domain.
- Develop and own multiple modules and components in the Android Automotive System.
- Deliver software for integration and ensure feature and requirement traceability.
- Implement test strategies, document results, and perform pre-integration testing and verification.
- Triage and resolve defects and coordinate with other domains on feature and defect dependencies.
- Mentor less experienced team members and assist them in completing tasks on time.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience modifying Android framework components, system services, and the Android SDK.
- Overall 3–5 years of professional experience.
- Expert knowledge of the Android Framework, AOSP platform architecture, and the related build system.
- Good understanding of the Android Automotive System and Car Framework.
- Very good understanding of Android Services, Broadcast Receivers, Content Providers, and Treble Architecture.
- Proficiency in Java or Kotlin and object-oriented programming.
- Hands-on knowledge and understanding of software development and software testing life cycles.
- Strong leadership, planning, organization, and mentoring skills.
