Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Build services for agent configuration, orchestration, integrations, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management.
- Develop mechanisms for managing configurations, versions, state, context, tools, permissions, and runtime components.
- Create reliable services for execution, errors, retries, timeouts, scalability, performance, observability, and fault tolerance.
- Integrate applications with internal and external products, enterprise applications, APIs, data sources, and services.
- Design authentication, authorization, permissions, and secure access controls for tools, models, services, and data.
- Collaborate with frontend, AI/ML, product, UX, DevOps, infrastructure, and platform teams.
- Troubleshoot complex backend, workflow, and integration issues and support reliable production operation.
- Participate in technical design decisions, code reviews, design reviews, and continuous engineering improvements.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of professional software engineering experience developing backend applications and services.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages and associated frameworks.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices, or other service-oriented applications.
- Understanding of software design principles, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and scalable, reliable production applications.
- Experience integrating applications with internal and external APIs, services, and data sources.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and cloud-native application architectures.
- Familiarity with automated testing, source control, monitoring, logging, observability, production support, and modern software development practices.
- Strong problem-solving, independent investigation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Working understanding of Agile development methodologies and frameworks.
