Responsibilities
- Guide EMEA partner delivery teams in applying Appian architecture and engineering standards.
- Review enterprise application designs for scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Mentor partner technical leads, solution architects, and developers.
- Diagnose and resolve architecture and performance challenges with partner, Customer Success, and Technical Support teams.
- Create reusable design patterns, integration blueprints, and fixes for partner delivery and Appian AI tooling.
- Provide technical enablement through forums, Q&A sessions, training, and certification materials.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering and Customer Success to validate commercially robust and repeatable solution architectures.
- Travel up to 30% to visit partner teams, conduct technical masterclasses, and support project discovery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 7 years of hands-on Enterprise Software Architecture experience designing, building, and deploying large-scale enterprise systems.
- Deep proficiency in database design, API integrations, security frameworks, performance tuning, and cloud deployment models.
- Experience collaborating with GSIs, regional systems integrators, and enterprise delivery teams across EMEA.
- Experience conducting architecture and code reviews and establishing scalable enterprise engineering practices.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with credibility among partner executives and developer teams.
- Senior or Lead Appian Certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience defining commercially robust, repeatable architecture patterns with Product Engineering and Customer Success teams is preferred.
- Experience with enterprise platforms is preferred.
