Responsibilities
- Review requirements and design specs to develop test plans and test cases.
- Automate UI/API tests, end-to-end tests, and reliability/scale tests.
- Collaborate with engineering management to scope and plan engineering efforts.
- Document and communicate quality engineering plans for scrum teams.
- Review application code to identify bugs and architect tools for coverage.
- Automate critical features to maintain a zero-debt cadence.
- Release features with solid quality.
- Respond to production issues and customer alerts during on-call rotation.
- Advocate for customer needs with a strong focus on quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related field.
- 5-8 years of QE/SDET experience, preferably in an enterprise SaaS or product-based company.
- Experience in quality engineering for enterprise-level software.
- Proficiency in Java-based automation development.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, and Postman.
- Expertise in test planning and cross-team collaboration.
- Experience with distributed systems at large scale.
- Ability to write and review designs and code collaboratively.
- Capability to deliver high-quality code on time.
