Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Analyze functional and technical requirements for ServiceNow modules and custom applications.
- Design, configure, develop, test, debug, and enhance ServiceNow workflows, applications, integrations, and platform components.
- Build script includes, business rules, client scripts, UI actions, UI policies, Flow Designer flows, Integration Hub actions, catalog items, and custom applications.
- Develop flow diagrams, workflow designs, data maps, process flows, technical documentation, user documentation, program documentation, and release materials.
- Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise tools using REST, SOAP, and MID Server patterns.
- Ensure solutions meet architecture standards, accessibility requirements, security controls, performance expectations, and configuration governance processes.
- Participate in sprint activities, design reviews, code reviews, release readiness checkpoints, and other lifecycle processes.
- Provide technical direction to team members and collaborate with architects, administrators, analysts, and federal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in ServiceNow application programming, software development, or information systems design in a large computer-based environment.
- Active ServiceNow certification such as CSA, CAD, CIS–ITSM, SecOps, or VR.
- Advanced hands-on ServiceNow development experience covering configuration, scripting, workflow development, or custom application creation.
- Strong JavaScript scripting skills and experience developing and testing ServiceNow components, integrations, and data transformations.
- Experience debugging software, resolving defects, optimizing performance, preparing documentation, and developing software from detailed design specifications.
- Experience with relational databases or large-scale DBMS concepts and familiarity with Agile development practices and structured release management.
- Ability to obtain and maintain NIH Public Trust; U.S. citizenship is not required.
- Desired qualifications include enterprise integration experience with REST, SOAP, or MID Servers; ServiceNow Flow Designer or Integration Hub experience; reporting, dashboards, and Performance Analytics experience; familiarity with SecOps, Vulnerability Response, CMDB modeling, discovery patterns, or service mapping; federal health IT or NIH experience; and source control or CI/CD experience for ServiceNow.
