Base Salary
$129k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Extend high-scale ingestion pipelines to ingest new and advanced data objects.
- Optimize the performance and cost of Core Objects systems.
- Own and develop complex backend systems that enable Braze’s product offering.
- Build new Core Objects systems and features across a range of engineering challenges.
- Use AI-assisted and agentic tools to navigate the Ruby monolith, create proofs of concept, and deliver solutions efficiently.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
- Experience as a technical leader.
- Strong understanding of software design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Ability to work independently with strong communication and organizational skills in a team environment.
- Preferred experience building software at scale.
- Preferred experience with one or more of Ruby, Ruby on Rails, React, Go, SQL, NoSQL databases, distributed systems, and API design, monitoring, and best practices.
- Experience with agile processes and a passion for customer experience are preferred.
